Thirty-Five Prizes for the Women of Kroo Town Road

JMan Insurance went back to the market with thirty-five prizes for the market traders who have been saving with the Kombra Trust Savings, and a promise to keep coming back.

We took over a corner of the Kroo Town Road Market with one purpose: to say thank you. We came with assorted prizes, ranging from bags of rice, rice cookers, gallons of cooking oil, school bags, water heaters, umbrellas and more. Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr Amadu Kassim Jah, was delighted to be in the presence of around 61 market savers – mainly women, and he himself drew the first ticket.

The Kombra Trust Savings allows a trader to save a small amount every day or every week through our agents. Our agents visit the market daily. At the end of the 6-month savings cycle, the saver gets her savings with 6% interest. This savings allows our market women, who are the champions of our homes, to save, for dem en dem piken dem.
